Back in the mid-1980s, I did quite a bit of work for “Look-In,” which was one of Britain’s most popular children’s magazines. It was billed as the “Junior TV Times” and it focused on TV shows, movies and pop music. Some great artists worked for the magazine, including Martin Asbury, Arthur Ranson and Mike Noble, and I was really pleased when they invited me on board. The first series I did for them was the Duran Duran story, which debuted in the November 23 issue in 1985 and ran for six issues. Here’s the first of those six spreads:
